Bigwarfe Named Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Watertown, NY— Sophomore Guard, Konnor J. Bigwarfe of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending December 7, 2014.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

Konnor, a 2013 graduate of Potsdam Central School, is majoring in Physical Education at Jefferson.  Bigwarfe’s accomplishments on the court this past week include coming off the bench he helped us to our first win this season.  Konnor scored 14 big points to keep us in the game and was outstanding on the defensive end as well.  Konnor not only gives his best on the court, but accepts his role with pride and encourages everyone to do their best.  It is these qualities that will carry him a long way in whatever he encounters.  Konnor epitomizes what being a "team player" is all about and continues to improve every day.
