Conners Named Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Watertown, NY— Freshman midfielder, Kaden J. Conners, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s soccer team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending September 22, 2019.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

Kaden, a 2019 graduate of Salmon River High School, is majoring in Criminal Justice at Jefferson.  Conners’ accomplishments on the pitch this past week included progressively adapting to the collegiate game and Saturday he showed just how much he has improved as he scored two goals in leading Jefferson to a convincing 5-0 win over Fulton-Montgomery Community College.  Kaden is an extremely hard worker and will play wherever he is asked to play.  It is this type of adaptability that is making him a valuable asset to the team, whether he is playing forward or midfield.  With his continued improvement and steady play, the Cannoneers are making a strong case to move on in Region III play.
