Dibble and Gaudioso Named Jefferson Co-Athletes of the Week

Freshman Outfielder/Short Stop, Samantha J. Dibble of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) softball team, and sophomore third baseman Timothy J. Gaudioso, of the Jefferson baseball team, were named JCC co-athletes of the week for the week ending May 6, 2018.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Under Armour and Victory Promotions.  

Samantha, a 2017 graduate of South Jefferson Central School, is majoring in Mathematics and Science at Jefferson.  Dibble’s accomplishments at the plate this past week included going 10 for 16 over the course of 4 games.  She scored 5 runs, had 3 stolen bases, 2 triples, 1 double, and 5 RBIs to lead Jefferson to a 3-1 record over the past week.  Samantha’s most impressive performance came against Mohawk Valley Community College in game two, where she was 4 for 5 with a triple, 2 stolen bases, 2 runs scored, and an RBI.  Sam has been an outstanding freshman, playing majority of her season in left field, but always willing to come in when called upon to play short stop when teammate Madison Besaw took the mound.

Tim, a 2016 graduate of Fairport High School, is majoring in Sports Management at Jefferson.  Gaudioso’s accomplishments this past week included going 9-20 in 8 games recording, 4 runs, 1 double, 7 RBIs, 3 walks, and 14 assists.  He will continue his academic and athletic career at Madaille College, next year.
