Eyles Named Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Watertown, NY— Freshman Guard, Ashlyn L. Eyles, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) women’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending January 27, 2019.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

Ashlyn, a 2018 graduate of Thousand Islands Central School, is majoring in Physical Education at Jefferson.  Eyles’ accomplishments on the court this past week included helping lead the Lady Cannoneers to a 71-40 victory over the visiting Corning Lady Red Barons.  Ashlyn totaled 20 points, 8 steals, and 6 assists in the MSAC matchup.  She provided the spark Jefferson needed half way through the first quarter with her defense which helped propel the Cannoneer offense into halftime.
