Flanagan Named Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Watertown, NY— Freshman Guard, Katelyn M. Flanagan, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) women’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending February 10, 2019.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour. 

Katelyn, a 2018 graduate of H.C. Williams High School, Canton, NY, is majoring in Humanities and Social Sciences at Jefferson.  Flanagan’s accomplishments on the court this past week included helping the Lady Cannoneers to a 2-1 record in Mid-State and Region 3 play.  Katelyn averaged 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.66 steals per game.  She has shot the ball well from deep all year, and continued last week shooting 7-15 behind the arc as she continues to be one of the best percentage shooters in the Region.
