Lloyd Named Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Watertown, NY— Freshman midfielder, Jeffrey A. Lloyd, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s soccer team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending September 8, 2019.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

Jeffrey, a 2019 graduate of Hillcrest High School, is majoring in Psychology at Jefferson.  Lloyd’s accomplishments on the pitch this past week included getting the Cannoneers off to one of their best starts in recent history.  Against North Country Community College, Jeff was inserted into the lineup, he responded by scoring two great goals as JCC would prevail in their first win of the season.  He scored two more goals in the win against SUNY Adirondack on Saturday, one being a penalty kick.  He has been a huge factor in getting the Cannoneers off to a great start in Region III soccer play.
