Navarra Named Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Watertown, NY— sophomore first baseman/pitcher, Joshua J. Navarra, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending March 18, 2018.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

Joshua, a 2016 graduate of Immaculate Heart Central School is majoring in Business Administration at Jefferson. Navarra’s accomplishments on the field this past week in Myrtle Beach, SC, included offensively having a .364 batting average, scoring 7 runs.  He had 8 hits including, 1 double, 1 triple, and 1 home run.  He drove in 10 RBI’s and walked twice.  On the mound Josh pitched 3.1 innings striking out 4 and only allowing 1 hit.
