Thomas Tilebein Inducted into the 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame

On Friday evening, September 21, 2018, Thomas Tilebein was inducted into the 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame.  The 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame and Distinguished Alumni Reception was held at the Watertown Elks Lodge.

Tom is retired after 34 years of working as the Superintendent of Public Works for the Village of Hilton. He is currently a sponsor for "Unbound" Charities, and Food for the Poor. Tom gave back to the game he loved by coaching youth soccer and as a referee. Tom was a board member for Upstate NY Municipal Workers Compensation Board and the Monroe County Recycling Advisory Board as well as Chairman for Monroe County Stormwater Coalition. In the past he was Chairman for St. Jude Hospital BikeA-Thon. His many accomplishments include serving as the President of the Western NY Village Superintendents Association as well as a member of the Finger Lakes and Western NY Waterworks Association. While a student at Jefferson, Tom was a member of the first Jefferson Soccer team and earned NJCAA Region 3 First team honors in 1969 and 1970. He went on to attend SUNY Brockport from 1972-1973. Tom and his wife Mary reside in Hilton, NY.
