Athletic Facilties

 The McVean Center Gymnasium

The McVean College Gymnasium seats 1800 and has a state-of-the-art sound system. It is the home of the Lady Cannoneer volleyball team as well as the men’s and women’s basketball teams. The Center also hosts numerous high school championships and community events.

Cannoneer Turf Complex

The New Cannoneer Turf Complex is the home of the Cannoneer Men's and Women's Lacrosse and soccer, baseball, and softball teams.  This cutting-edge space offers many cool features designed to elevate the experience for both our athletes and spectators.  It also features a state-of-the-art sound system that surrounds the field, creating an electrifying atmosphere for games and events.  Our facility also includes the scoreboard that doubles as a video display. This innovation allows us to not only keep track of scores but also to showcase exhilarating highlight reels, instant replays, and even educational videos to enrich the overall experience for everyone.  

 Jefferson Fitness Center

Jefferson has a state-of-the-art Fitness Center for the College campus.

• The Fitness Center has stationary bikes, treadmills and elliptical machines as well as a free weight section.
• NEW in 2018 is the functional fitness area which include TRX, Hurdles, Slam Balls, Plyometric-Boxes and much more.
• Many recreational activities are available to students and faculty/staff at no charge. 

Sports Medicine 

Jefferson has a state-of-the-art Athletic Training Facility. It has been recently renovated to include a whirlpool, muscle stimulation and ultrasound therapy. A certified athletic trainer is available to all athletes for the prevention, care and treatment of athletic injuries. Located in Building 4-029

eSports Lab

Located on the top floor of Jules Center, Building 6, Jefferson’s esports arena features 28 gaming stations, ergonomic gaming chairs, three 70” smart TV consoles for three Nintendo Switches, two Xbox and a PS5 console, cutting edge Alienware gaming PCs complete with headsets and video cameras, lockers and a coaching station.

Golf Simulator Room

The golf simulators are in the McVean Student Center.  The 2 simulators are a great addition the Men’s and Women’s golf programs, where student/athletes can set up training and practice sessions to work on swing accuracy, club head speed and distances.  The members of the team also have access to most of all the major golf courses in the country.  Team members can set up foursomes and reserve time to play 9 or 18 holes for practice.  Along with the simulators the training area has two 25’ putting stations.
