TC3 was able to string a couple hits together in the bottom of the 5th inning and get 3 runs across to take the lead. Dakota Deasy relieved Boyd in the bottom of the 5th to get the final out of the inning, and pitched a shut out in the 6th, finishing with 1 strikeout on the day. Our bats were working early on to get us 2 runs to start the game; Hunter Holiday went 3-3 at the plate with 1 RBI and Joshua Navarra contributed a 1-3 game with 1 RBI.

Game two had the similar flow of game one for the Men's baseball team. Joshua Harvey took the mound for the 2nd game of the day, and was solid throughout. Harvey went 5 2/3 innings pitched, while adding 1 strikeout and only allowing 3 hits and 0 earned runs. Ethan Straub came in to finish the bottom of the 6th inning, striking out the only batter he faced all afternoon. Hunter Holiday carried over his hitting from game one into game two with a 2-4 contribution at the plate, and Tim Gaudioso added a 2-3 day at the plate as well. Jefferson was able to move around base runners around in the top of the 6th inning, ultimately leading to Zachary Scannell crossing home plate to break the 0-0 tie and take a 1-0 lead. TC3 then came to the plate in the bottom of the 6th, and pushed 2 runs across the plate to take a 2-1 lead. Jefferson was unable to answer back in the top of the 7th inning, leading to a final score of 2-1 in Tompkins Cortland CC favor.
