Game 1: Loss 7-1. It was a tight game that we let slip out of reach in the 5th inning. Juan Reynoso was the starting pitcher and pitched 5 innings with 4 earned runs, 6 strikeouts and only 1 walk. William Simkin relieved him for 2 innings pitched allowing 0 earned runs and 2 strikeouts. Lachlan Rees supplied a double at the plate.
Game 2: Loss 6-1. Another tight game that was tied 1-1 going into the 4th inning. MVCC took advantage of some 2 out walks to score. Connor O'Donnell started on the mound, pitching 4 2/3 innings, allowing 5 earned runs and striking out 4. Will Simkin pitched another 1 1/3 inning in relief with 0 earned runs and 2 strikeouts. Erick Valdez pitched 1 inning allowing 1 earned run and picking up 1 strikeout. Nathan Doremus supplied an RBI double at the plate.
