Tough Weekend For Cannoneers

Saturday, April 24th

In game 1 of Saturday's double-header versus Herkimer, the Cannoneers' walks and errors aided a very strong Herkimer team to 16 runs. Will Simkin was the total offense for JCC. Simkin hit a line drive home run over the left-center field fence for the lone hit, run, and RBI of the game. Connor Ashlaw worked a walk.

Game 2 of Saturday's home double-header versus Herkimer saw many of the same components from game 1 that resulted in a lopsided win for the high-powered Generals. Lachlan Rees supplied 2 hits and an RBI for Jefferson. Dakota Corbett-Bean, Stephen Snediker, and Anthony Martinez each worked a walk.

Sunday, April 25th

Herkimer continued their offensive powers on Sunday in game 1 of the double-header in Little Falls. Stephen Snediker lead the Cannoneers with 2 hits. Bailey Dempsey and Anthony Martinez both supplied a hit each.

In game 2 of Sunday's double-header at Herkimer, the Generals once again used free bases and second chances to capitalize in a big way. Stephen Snediker struck out 7 batters through 3 innings pitched. Juan Reynoso slugged a line drive solo home run to center field for the lone run of the game for JCC. Dakota Corbett-Bean and Keegan Poste each picked up a base hit.
