Jefferson Golf Opens up their Season at Cayuga, Onondaga, and Tompkins Cortland
On Friday, Jefferson Golf opened up their season at the Highland Park Golf Club for the Nicholas J. DeSocio Memorial Tournament hosted by Cayuga Community College. Jefferson finished third with a combine score of 347. Jefferson had 6 golfers compete, their scores are as follows:

- Patrick Healy 100
- Seamus Honeywell 115
On Saturday, the Cannoneers traveled to the Timber Banks Country Club, where they competed in the 2018 Onondaga Lazers Invitational. This was also the site for the 2018 Mid-State Athletic Conference All-Conference Golf Tournament hosted by Onondaga Community College. Jefferson finished 3rd in the Conference and 7th in the Invitational Tournament with a combined team score of 353. Congratulations to Gabe Lafex for finishing 2nd overall in the Mid-State Athletic Conference with an impressive score of 78, he finished tied for 5th in the Invitational. He was named to the 2018 Mid-State Athletic Conference All-Conference Team.

JCC finished out the weekend at the Elm Tree Golf Club, in the Tompkins Cortland Panthers Open Championship, hosted by Tompkins Cortland Community College. At this Championship, Jefferson finished 7th with a combined team score of 334. The individual scores were as follows:

Jefferson Golf will travel to Mohawk Valley on Friday to play at the Oneida Community Golf Club, hosted by Mohawk Valley Community College.
