The Cannoneers traveled to Herkimer to take on the #1 team in the country and gave them a battle beofre succumbing to Generals. The Cannoneers would find themselves tied at 17 with the Generals only to see Herkimer break away to a 55-24 halftime. The Cannoneers never gave up in the second half , cutting the margin to 12 at one point and outscoring Herkimer by 4 in the second half. It wasn't enough as Herkimer finished the game off to win by the final score of 94-74.
Leading the way for the Cannoners was Antonio Smalls-Hansell with a career best 31 points. Also chipping in to the cause were Everal Spyke and Quincy Aubertine with 8 points apiece.
