The Cannoneers traveled to Borough of Manhattan Community College to play in the Panthers Tip-Off classic. The results were not positive as the Cannoneers lost to BMCC on day one by the score of 105-86 and lost to Queensborugh Community College on day two by the score of 112-93.
Both teams were red-hot from beyond the arc as both teams shot over 60% from the 3-pt line in both games. The Cannoneers would try desperately to stay in both games themselves as Jerry Willis would lead the Cannoneers in game 1 with 26 points, while Malik White added 15 to help the Cannoneers. Game 2 saw Malik White lead the way with 19 points and Jatique Jenkins-Fredericks chipping in with 17 points and 18 rebounds.
Next up for the Cannoneers is opening home games on Saturday/Sunday against Adirondack and Hudson Valley.
