Cannoneers Continue Improvement Defeat Columbia-Greene

The Cannoneers continued to show improvement as they defeated Columbia-Greene in a Region III contest 80-65.  The Cannoneers perseverance of late has been bolstered by team play and steady improvement on the defensive end.  This contest was no different of late as the Cannoneers played solid defense throughout the course of the game and contested shots put up by the Twins.

Another strong point of late for the Cannoneers has been the improved team play.  Against the Twins, the Cannoneers had 4 players in double figures led by Malik White with 18 points.  He was followed closely by Jatique Jenkins-Fredericks with 15 points and a huge 16 rebound game.  Tymire Riddick continued his steady play with and an added 14 points, while Jerry Willis had a productive day with 13 points and 7 assists.  Jake Hess would have one of his best outings as he contributed 8 points and had some key rebounds down the stretch.
