Cannoneers Earn Hard Fought Victory over Raiders

After traveling all day Saturday, the Cannoneers would come back to their home court on Sunday to face the always dangerous Raiders of Fulton Montgomery Community College.    The Cannoneers would once again have a balanced scoring attack with 5 players getting into double digits and holding off the Raiders.  Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Jake Hess with 23 points, as he played a spirited game.  Coming right behind him was Joshua Newman who would score 20 points and have 12 rebounds for his second straight double/double.  Isiah Murphy would have 18 points/7 assists 8 rebounds in running the show for the Cannoneers again.   Liam Bonk would chip in with a double/double himself with 12 points/10 rebounds.  Howard Turner would continue his steady improvement by adding 12 points of his own.  The Cannoneers would once again pull away in the second half and win the game by the final score of 91-78.
