The game was back and forth all day with the Timberwolves taking a 11-point lead with 5 minutes to go, only to see the Cannoneers storm back and get it within 2 points with 55 seconds to go. The Cannoneers would foul, and the Timberwolves made 1 out of 2 free throws. The Cannoneers would miss a great chance and the Timberwolves would make their free throws to eke out an 87-85 victory over the Cannoneers. Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Jeremiah Smith with 24 points for the second straight day. Also chipping in was Ikechukwu Ezike Jr. with 15 points/ 11 rebounds, as well as Jermaine Jackson with 17 points.
