The Cannoneers Fall to the Panthers in Overtime

The Cannoneers battled the wind and blizzard-like conditions in their season opener against Tompkins Cortland Community College on Thursday night. Despite the conditions and the team's first time on a field this spring, JCC fought hard but came up short in an overtime loss 10-9 to the Panthers. Jack Rathbun and Jack Rowsam each tallied 5 points (3 goals and 2 assists respectively) to lead all scorers. Isaac Quonce saved 10 shots in his goalie debut. The Cannoneers are back in action next Wednesday when they travel to perennial powerhouse Genesee CC.
