Bio

Coach Ledoux comes to SUNY Jefferson after taking some time off from coaching at JCC.  He served as the Women’s Assistant Coach from the 2016-2018 Season. During his time with the Lady Cannoneers, the team reached the Region III Semi-finals on both occasions losing hard-fought battles to the eventual National Champion Monroe Community College. Before joining JCC, Coach Ledoux co-founded the non-profit UNITY Athletics program, the North Country’s premier club lacrosse program.  UNITY Lacrosse began as a girl's program but grew into a much larger organization, eventually becoming the face of boy’s club lacrosse in the region. In 2022 UNITY Lacrosse and UNITY Hockey provided the opportunity for over 400 boys and girls to play competitively in tournaments, summer leagues, and skills development programs.

Before moving to the North Country in 2011, Coach Ledoux resided in Nashua, NH, where he served as the Athletic Director at Presentation of Mary Academy. He was a founding committee member that brought an athletic complex, including a multi-million-dollar turf field and boy’s and girl’s lacrosse programs to PMA.  Before his duties at PMA, Coach Ledoux served as the Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Nashua High School from 2000-2009.  Coach Ledoux inherited a program that had won a State Championship in 1998 and was the state runner-up in 1999. At Nashua, he was fortunate to have teams that advanced to the state tournament every year.  Coach Ledoux developed several all-American and academic all-American players who went on to play Division I, Division II & Division III NCAA Lacrosse.

Coach Ledoux has also served as a junior hockey assistant coach with the Tyngsboro Huskies of the Eastern Junior League and an assistant varsity hockey coach at Nashua High School.  He has coached all levels of lacrosse and hockey since 1991.

Mike currently resides in Watertown with his wife, Tricia, a former three-sport athlete at SUNY Jefferson. They have three children, Tadd, a sophomore at St. Lawrence University; Tori, a postgraduate student at the Frederick Gunn School; and Trey, a freshman at Immaculate Heart Central School.
