On Saturday the Cannoneers hosted the Erie Community College Kats and came out on the short end of a 5-1 defeat. The Cannoneers would play even with the Kats for the first 20 minutes, only to see the Kats take a 3-0 lead into halftime. The Cannoneers would strike in the second half as they worked hard and forced a turnover in which Kyle Gaumes converted into the back of the net. The second half was played more evenly and the Cannoneers will look to build upon this for the rest of the season.
