Webb Comes Up Big for Jefferson

Freshman Pitcher/Infielder Casey Webb led her team to 13-0 and 6-2 wins with 7 hits and 3 RBI's against their hosts the Fulton-Montgomery Lady Raiders.  She also pitched 5 innings with 5 strikeouts and only 2 hits in the first game against FMCC.

Also contributing to the Lady Cannoneer's sweep of the Lady Raiders were Taniesha Richey with 4 hits, 2 of which were doubles, 2 RBI's and Lindsay Barton went 2-4 with 2 RBI's.

In the SUNY Adirondack 11-1, 11,0 sweep, Korie Clark pitched a 7 inning shut-out for the Lady Cannoneers in the second game with 2 strike-outs and only 2 hits given up.  Casey Webb went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's and a triple in the first game and in the second game went 2 for 3 with an RBI, run scored. Mia Poste went 2-3 with a run scored, and Kalen Hyde went 2-2 with 2 runs scored and an RBI.

Jefferson Softball will take on the Monroe Lady Tribunes tomorrow at home.  The first pitch is set for 4:00 pm.
