The Jefferson Women's Lacrosse team continue their winning streak last night with a home win against the visiting North Country Lady Saints. Even the cold temperatures and heavy rain didn't deter the girls from scoring 17 goals against North Country. Kia Morgia-Horning led Jefferson with 9 goals, while Katlynn Santamour contributed 3 goals. Marisa Clark and Lexi Smith each added 2 goals, and Kiersten Guthro also scored a goal for the Lady Cannoneers.
Rebecca Monica had 4 saves in goal, allowing only 3 goals scored. The Lady Cannoneers will host Monroe Community College on Wednesday at 8:00 pm on the General Brown High Turf Field.
