Clarkson University - Bachelors of Science - Engineering and Management

Coaching Experience:

Marisa has been an assistant for the South Jefferson Girls Lacrosse program the past three years since graduating as well as an assistant for the Women's Basketball Team at Jefferson Community College. 

At South Jefferson she has assisted in coaching and mentoring these young athletes and in the past three years, the program has had the success of sending a total of 15 girls to further their lacrosse and academic careers at either Division I, II or III levels. 

Marisa said her favorite part of coaching is developing young athletes into the best athlete and person they can be. She hopes to bring local athletes the chance to stay local and continue to develop their skills and academic careers to further the chance of playing at a higher level. 

Playing Experience:

Coach Marisa was a two-sport athlete at Jefferson playing both basketball and lacrosse in her two years here. 

At SUNY Jefferson, after battling with injuries she was able to play her last 7 games, and ended the season with 8 goals, 23 ground balls and 7 caused turnovers. As a sophomore she started all 11 games and ended her season with 22 goals, 6 assists, 50 ground balls, 51 draw controls and 16 caused turnovers. She then continued to play at Clarkson University where she played in every game, she was physically able to around a few minor injuries. 

At Clarkson University in her Senior Year - she had her best game of the year against Rensselaer in the first round of Liberty League Playoffs when she scored three key goals in 13-11 win against the Engineers. She then continued to produce two points on goal and assist in Liberty League Semifinals versus Ithaca College. She ended her career with a total of 33 points at Clarkson University.

Liberty League All-Academic both 2017-18 and 2018-19 years.
