On Sunday, women's soccer sophomores Breanna Scofield and McKenna Kelly were recognized as they played their last home game of the season as a Lady Cannoneer.

Breanna Scofield

Breanna Scofield is a wonderful soccer player and person. She has had a very successful 8-year soccer career throughout which she played for Belleville Henderson's high school team, a number of club teams, and now is a Jefferson Lady Cannoneer. She plans to transfer to SUNY Cortland to study Speech and Hearing Sciences. Her goal is to become a speech pathologist and work with special education children. Bre has represented JCC well this season, she leaves behind a legacy of positivity, flip throw ins, and an interesting encounter with a chicken. Coach Rowland, Coach Ward, and all your teammates are excited to see you succeed at Cortland and wish you all the best. Thank you, Bre.

McKenna Kelly is a fantastic soccer player and person. She played at Watertown high throughout her soccer career. With covid cancelling sports last year she was very excited to finally be able to play soccer again. After graduating in the spring with a degree in Allied Health & Biological Sciences, she plans on transferring out to continue to work towards a career in health care.  We know she will be successful wherever she decides to go. McKenna has represented JCC well this season, she leaves behind a legacy of sticking up for her teammates, being the only person on the team willing to head the ball, and always giving 100%. Coach Rowland, Coach Ward, and all your teammates are excited to see you succeed and wish you all the best. Thank you, McKenna.

The women's soccer team defeated Jamestown 5-1.  Hailey Cunningham led the Lady Cannoneers with 4 goals, 1 assist, while Kiah Moser also added a goal.  Lillia Campeau had 2 assists and Brooke Smykla also had an assist.
