11 Annual Cazenovia Homecoming Invitational Results
The Cannoneer Cross Country teams traveled to the 11th Annual Cazenovia Homecoming Invitational this past Saturday where the men finished 8th and the women finished 5th.
The women were led by Alannah Cook who showed her leadership while helping teammates through the tough middle portion of the course helping the Lady Cannoneers close on number 8 nationally ranked Hudson Valley – the Cannoneers finished one place behind them. Alannah finished the 5k course in a time of 25:24 followed by Madison Neukirch in 25:39, Shania Spicer in 26:04, Hanna Neukirch in 27:56 and Maddison Sochia in 30:53.
The men were led by Henry Chen who took charge in the middle part of the 8 kilometer course and ran strong to finish in 39:34. He was followed by Adam Samake in 40:50, Jacob Maloney in 41:23, Noah Newton in 44:29 and Oscar Middleton in 44:49.
The Cannoneer runners head north this coming Saturday for the SUNY Canton Kangaroo Invitational.
