Cannoneers Run To Personal Best Times at MSAC Championships

Painted Post, NY - Jefferson Harriers notch personal best times Saturday at MSAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Corning Community College. The championship, held at The Y at Watson Woods, included 29 competitors competing over the 8K course. Freshman Jack Natali led the way for the Cannoneers with a top five finish of 5th overall. He covered the course in 30:246, eclipsing his previous best 8K time by nearly 3 minutes.  Finishing in the top fifteen for 12th place was freshman Charles Rogers in a personal best time of 35:19. Both Jayden Vance-Mceachern (35:32) and Wayland Horton (36:50) also recorded personal best 8K times for 21st and 23rd place respectively. Natali was named to the 2022 MSAC All-Conference team with his top seven finish.  

The Cannoneers conclude their regular season next Saturday when they travel to Finger Lake Community College to compete in the NJCAA Region III Championships. The 8K men's race starts at 11:15AM.
