Goalie Andrew McLean vs Hudson Valley

Cannoneers Gain First Win of Season!

The Cannoneers traveled to Saranac Lake to take on the Saints of North Country CC and came away with a well deserved 4-0 win.  The Cannoneers would take it at the Saints from the start and would finally break into the scoring column when Trenton Sullivan worked his way through the defense for an unassisted goal at the 36th minute, giving the Cannoneers a 1-0 lead.  This would hold up as the first half ended 1-0 Cannoneers.

The second half would see the Cannoneers hit the back of the net 3 times led by Jeffrey Lloyd's 2 goals and Sebastian Mastin's header finding the back of the net for the final score of 4-0.  Mike Luther, Sidike Duombia and Mack Oakes-Lazare would hand out assists for the Cannoneers.  It was a well played game for the whole Cannoneer team and the defense Jalen Cook, Kellen Flanders, Barry Falconer, Mike Luther, and goalie Andrew McLean( 6 Saves) would preserve the shutout.  Next up will be the first home game as the Cannoneers host SUNY Adirondack at 3 pm Saturday.
