Watertown, NY--Sophomore Forward, Andrew M. Guyette, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Men’s Soccer team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending September 2, 2012.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. Guyette, a 2011 graduate of Immaculate Heart Central, is majoring in Criminal Justice at Jefferson.  Guyette’s accomplishments on the pitch this past week include securing Jefferson’s first win of the season with a goal off a corner kick from fellow teammate Hugo Oliveira.  His discipline on the set piece gave the team the 2-0 lead in the middle of the second half.  His goal energized the team to obtain their first team shut out.
