Coach Northrop on the Region III Coach of the Year award:

"I am much honored to win this award amongst the great coaches in Region III Baseball. We as a group were able to accomplish high goals this season because of my coaching staff that helps me each and every day. This award is as much of theirs as it is mine. We couldn't accomplish so much without the help of my assistants David Navarra, Francis Navarra, David Northrop, and Samuel Cavallario. Our players as well come to practice each and every day ready to complete to get better. We have built a great environment for players to come in and learn from being competitive with each other and this award is due to their effort to become better at the game of baseball."

The 14 player sophomore class is leaving Jefferson with an overall record of 46-45. 11 players are moving onto 4-year NCAA level programs with athletic scholarships totaling over $70,000.
