Jefferson Baseball Sophomore Committs to Webster College

Sophomore left handed pitcher Cameron Robbins from Clayton, New York has verbally committed to NCAA DIII Daniel Webster College in Nashua, New Hampshire. The Daniel Webster Eagles compete in the New England Collegiate Conference for Head Coach Nate Goulet.

Robbins had a successful freshmen season on the mound in 2014 leading the pitching staff in saves. In 2015 Robbins moved into the starting rotation and will be a key for the Cannoneers success down the stretch to finish out the 2015 regular season. Robbins will be expected to provide an immediate impact on the mound next fall for the Eagles and continue to advance in his engineering degree.

Robbins is the second sophomore to commit this season. Previously sophomore Michael Wood committed to Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia.
