Jefferson Take 3 From Mohawk Valley

On Saturday the Cannoneers traveled to face the Mohawk Valley Hawks in a doubleheader match up.  Michael Wood had 3 hits in game one to help lead Jefferson to a 5-0 shutout against the Hawks. Zachary Parilla also added a hit for JCC.

In game two Hunter Thomas went 3-4 with 4 RBI's and Brandon Noble went 2-2 with 2 RBI's. Mac Edwards and Yonelle Firebrace also added a hit for Jefferson leading them to a 10-7 win.

On Sunday the baseball team took game one 11-10 and lost game two 6-10.  In game one Michael Wood once again was strong at the plate with a pair of doubles, 3 RBI's, while Bryant Wentworth went 2-2, with 2 RBI's.  Mac Edwards also added a triple and 2 RBI's. 

In game two, Hunter Thomas went 3-4 with 2 RBI's for Jefferson.  Bradley McQuinn also added a triple and a double for the Cannoneers. 

Jefferson will play tomorrow at Schenectady.  The first pitch is set for 1:00 pm.
