Schmuck Commits
Sophomore Shortstop Robert Schmück (Forrest Hills, NY) has accepted an Athletic and Academic Scholarship to continue this college education and athletic career at Reinhardt University located in Waleska, Georgia starting in the fall of 2018. The Reinhardt University Eagles are a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and compete in the Appalachian Athletic Conference for Head Coach Kevin Howard. Coach Howard has been a Head Coach at the college level for 24 years and has an overall record of 679-455-1 and will enter his 5th years as the leader of the Reinhardt Eagles in 2018.
Schmück had a promising freshmen year for the Cannoneers leading the team in several offensive and defensive categories. He was selected as a team captain for the 2018 season along with sophomores Benjamin Wilcox and Joshua Navarra. Upon entering Reinhardt, Schmück will be looked at to fill a hole at shortstop and time on the mound right away.
Schmück is an Individual Studies Major at Jefferson and graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in 2016.
