Brandon Noble Named Jefferson Baseball Head Coach

Watertown, NY— Alumnus Brandon Noble joins the Cannoneer coaching staff as the Head Coach of the Jefferson Baseball team.  Along with the coaching duties Brandon will assist the Athletic Department with NJCAA compliance and social media.

Before accepting the position Brandon was General Manager for the Watertown Rapids of Perfect Games Collegiate Baseball League. Brandon also served as the assistant baseball coach for the Cannoneers during the 2018-19 season and was an account executive for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits hockey team.  Brandon gained valuable athletic administration experience during his internship with the Auburn Doubleday's, a minor league affiliate of the Washington Nationals.

Brandon graduated from SUNY Cortland with a B.S. in Sports Management and an A.S. Degree in Sports Management from Jefferson. He played baseball for 2 years for the Cannoneers.

He begins the 2020 season with a returning core group of players that look to make an impact on the NJCAA Region III play.  The pitching staff will be led by sophomores Joey Wargo (Watertown, NY/General Brown HS) and Anthony Martinez (Bronx, NY/Int. School for Liberal Arts).  Catcher Derek Cuyler (Oswego, NY/Hannibal HS) started the majority of games for JCC as a freshman and his leadership will be vital.  Additional sophomores that are expected to play key roles include INF Ryan Gallo (Watertown, NY/Watertown HS) who saw a lot of time as a freshman and Anthony Martinez plays outfield in addition to pitching.
