Jefferson Basketball Competes in the Mohawk Valley Torchia Classic

The first opponent the the Cannoneers had to face in the Torchia Classic was The Thomas School.   At half time Jefferson had a 2 point lead over Thomas, but couldn't hold on, as they were defeated 72-71.  Samuel Durodola led JCC with 22 points.  Justin Sullivan pulled down 7 rebounds.

On Saturday, in the consolation game, the Cannoneers faced the Queensborough Tigers.  Derrick Williams led Jefferson to a 53-52 win, with 18 points.  Samuel Durodola added 15 points and 10 rebounds.
