Cannoneers Gain Come From Behind Win

The Cannoneers found a way after trailing the entire game to pull out a road victory against Broome Community College on Saturday afternoon.  It was a hard fought battle with many fouls being called and the Cannoneers never held a lead until 2:10 minutes left in the game.  Once again it was a great team effort with 5 players in double figures.  Leading the way for the Cannoneers were Javon Hunter with 23 points , followed closely by Latrelle Lee's 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.  Also chipping in were Natell Windley with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, Karaan Newsome with 12 points and Ismaeel Safo with 10 points and 7 rebounds.  This was a huge road win for the Cannoneers as they solidified their hold on second place in the conference, to stay one game behind Finger Lakes CC in the race for Mid State Conference first place.  Next up for the Cannoneers will be the continuation of the Cayuga game cut short by a power outage on Monday, January 25th at 7:00 pm.
