Jefferson Pulls Away in Second Half for Win

After a tough road loss on Wednesday, the Cannoneers returned home to face the Royals of Schenectady County Community College.  After having a great scoring first half and ringing up 50 points, the Cannoneers started to pull away in the second half and expanded their lead to as much as 16 points only to see the Royals close the gap at the end.  The Cannoneers persevered and held on for a 103-98 victory at home.  Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Christian Rohlehr with a triple double with 28 points, 11 boards and 11 blocks.  Other contributors to the win were Jameir Sudler with 21 points, Anthony Lindor with 17 points, Jerry Williams with 15 points and Quincy Aubertine with 11 points.  Rounding out the scoring sheet were Markees Cruz with 3 points, Jayden Drown, Islam Haggag and Jared Thornton with 2 points and Rashaun Thomas with 1 point.  A great team effort at home to get the Cannoneers to .500 in the region.
