Cannoneers Gain Huge Win on the Road

The Cannoneers treaveled to Fulton-Montgomery Community College for a region 3 match up on Sunday and came away with an impressive road win by the score of 81-79.  Leading the way again for the Cannoneers was Jameir Sudler with 26 points points, nailing 6 three pointers and Christian Rohlehr with another triple double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocked shots.  It was Rohlehr's third consecutive triple double of the week.  Also chipping in with huge contributions in the win were Quincy Aubertine with 16 points and a huge three pointer with 1:33 left in the game to give the Cannoneers a lead they would not relinquish the rest of the way.  Anthony Lindor continued his steady play with 9 points and handling the point guard duties and Jerry Williams with 8 points off the bench.  Rounding out the score sheet was Markees Cruz with 2 points and a huge effort on the defensive end and many key defensive rebounds in the game's final minutes.  The team was also an excellent 17-22 from the free throw line in the contest, in which the Cannoneers improved their region 3 mark to 3-2.

They will travel to Tompkins-Cortland after the break and try to extend their winning streak to 3 games.
