Cannoneers Lose Tough Road Game to Panthers

The Cannoneers traveled to Tompkins-Cortland Community College on Tuesday night and came away with a tough 89-75 loss to the host Panthers.  The game was close throughout and the Panthers led by 8 at the half by the score of 42-34.  To start the second half Jefferson opened on a 10-2 run, only to see costly turnovers take over the game and watch the Panthers extend the lead to as much as 16 late in the game.  The Cannoneers would fight to the end for the final margin of defeat.  Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Quincy Aubertine with 19 points, Christian Rohlehr with 17 points, Anthony Lindor with 14 points and Jameir Sudler with 13 points.  Rounding out the scoring for the Cannonneers were Jerry Williams with 6 and Razak Andrew and Islam Haggag with 2 points each.  Next up for the Cannoneers this Thursday at home versus the Herkimer Generals.
