Cannoneers Fall to the Kats

The Cannoneers opened the second semester with a tough loss to Division II Erie County Community College at home Wednesday night.   The Kats pressured the Cannoneers into numerous turnovers and really got after the boards in handling the Cannoneers.  The Cannoneers would cut the lead to three in the first half only to see Erie go on a huge run to end the first half with the score being 51-36.  The Cannoneers would battle again in the second half and cut the lead to single digits only to see the Kats force the issue and win the game by the final score of 98-75.  Leading the way for the Cannoneers were Jameir Sudler with 24 points, Christian Rohlehr with a triple double of 13 points, 12 rebounds and 12 blocked shots.  Also aiding the cause were Quincy Aubertine with 14 points, Jared Thornton with 12 points and Markees Cruz with 11 points.  The Cannoners start conference play this Saturday at Finger Lakes Community College.
