Cannoneers Gain First Mid-State Win

The Cannoneers hosted the Spartans of Cayuga on Tuesday night and came away with a much needed 78-67 win.  The game was close throughout the first half as Graham Miller would tap in a shot as the buzzer sounded to give the Cannoneers a nice 10 point lead aty halftime, 34-24.  The Cannoneers did not let up in the second half and would extend the lead to 19 points at one time and would cruise home for the much needed win at home.  Leading the way for the Cannoneers were Christain Rohlehr with his 6th triple double of the year with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 12 blocks.  Markees Cruz would also turn in another stellar performance with 20 points and 15 rebounds.  Rounding out the score sheet would be Quincy Aubertine with 13 points, Jameir Sudler with 12 points, Jospeh Osei with 5 points, Jared Thornton with 3 points and Islam Haggag and Graham Miller with 2 points a piece.  Next up for the Cannoneers will be nationally ranked Onondaga CC in Syracuse on Thursday evening.
