Cannoneers Lose Battle to Red Barons

The Cannoneers and the Corning Red Barons engaged in a tough battle at the McVean Center gymnasium on Saturday with Corning coming out on the winning end by the score of 81-70.  Jefferson would stay close throughout, only to see the Red Barons pull away at the end and secure a hard fought Mid-State conference game.  Leading the way for the Cannoneers were Jameir Sudler with 18 points and 4 assists, followed by Christian Rohlehr with 13 points and 8 blocks.  Also contributing to the cause were Markees Cruz with 11 points and 11 rebounds and Quincy Aubertine with 12 points.  Rounding out the score sheet were Jared Thornton with 7 points, Anthony Lindor with 5 points and Jerry Williams with 4 points.
