Cannoneers Win Conference Home Game

Cannoneers Win Conference Home Game

The Cannonneers defeated the Panthers of Tompkins-Cortland Community College on Wednesday night in convincing fashion by the score of 98-87.  The Cannonneers would jump out to an early lead they would never relinquish behind the hot shooting of Quincy Aubertine, Anthony Lindor, and Jameir Sudler leading by 13 at the break.  The Panthers would try to claw back into the game in the second half, but never quite got over the hump as Christian Rohlehr would dominate with 22 second half points and 8-8 Free Throw shooting and finish with a game high 24 points to lead the Cannoneers to victory.  Aubertine's 21 points, Lindor's 13 points, Sudler's 13 points and Jerry Williams 13 points would anchor a very balanced effort from the Cannoneers.  Rounding out the score sheet were Markees Cruz with 8 points, Marshall Roberts-Payne with 4 and Joseph Osei with 2 points.  Next up is huge game at home Saturday vs Finger Lakes Community College.
