#1 Jerry Willis vs Schenectady

The Cannoneers Have a Huge Win on the Road

Cannoneers Win Second in a Row

The Cannoneers traveled to North Country Community College on Saturday and came away with a big road win.  The Cannoneers would come out firing on all cylinders and jump out to a 12-2 lead, maintaining that lead for most of the first half and go in leading by 8 at the half.  In the second half the Cannoneers would pull away and empty the bench for a convincing 98-81 win.

Leading the way for the Cannoneers were Tymire Riddick with 27 points and Jatique Jenkins-Fredericks with 23 points.  Also contributing to the winning cause were Malik White with 16 points and Jerry Willis(9points) and Eli Smalls(8 points).  It was great team win for the Cannoneers!

Cannoneers get Beat at the Buzzer

This being the second road game in two days, things did not fare well for the Cannoneers.  Unlike the day before, the Cannoneers would struggle out of the gate and fall behind early to the Cougars of Clinton Community College.  The Cannoneers would find their legs and trail after the first half 35-34.  The second half started out much the same as Jefferson would dig a hole and get back into the game.  This time the Cougars would respond with a run of their own and the JCC would find themselves down by 11 points with approximatley 4 minutes to go.  The Cannoneers would stage a furious rally and tie the game with 6 seconds to go, on a Tymire Riddick 3 pointer, only to see the Cougars go the length of the court and get a tap in at the buzzer to win by the final count of 77-75.

The Cannoneers are off until January 10, 2019 when they host Erie Community College at Jefferson.
