Men's Soccer Lends a Hand Helping Youth

On Monday, September 24, 2012, during free hour, the Jefferson Men's Soccer Team invited the 4 year olds from the New Day Campus Care on Campus over to teach them the techniques of soccer.

The soccer team taught the kids how to use different surfaces of their feet, trapping, and passing the ball with one on one instruction from each of the players and coaches.  They also taught them some fun games that will teach them how to keep the ball close to their body.

JoLynn Fiorentino, Campus Day Care Instructor, added "Coach Pacilio and the JCC soccer players (coaches) were wonderful!  It was all the children talked about for the rest of the week.  All of the children participating received their own soccer ball to take home to practice with.  What a great surprise!  We cannot wait to go to "soccer camp" again."

Coach Pacilio and his team gave each child a soccer ball to take home and he and his team can't wait for next year to do it again!
