Jefferson Cannoneers Fall to theTompkins-Cortland Panthers
The Jefferson Men's Soccer team opened their season last night on the road at Tompkins-Cortland Community College. The Cannoneers struck first with an unassisted goal by Sophomore Cody Carpenter, Lowville, NY, leading Jefferson into half-time with a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Jefferson held TC3 off until the 59 minute mark where the Panthers scored their first goal and then scored again at the 75 minute mark, leading Tompkins-Cortland to a 2-1 win over the visiting Cannoneers.
Jacob LaClair, Philadelphia, NY, had 8 saves in goal.
The Cannoneer's home opener will be this Sunday, September 7th at 3:00 pm against the visiting Erie Kats!
