Peters Scores the Winning Shot in the 89th Minute

The Jefferson Men's Soccer team came home with a 2-1 win on Saturday against their host the Clinton Cougars.  Pearce Parsons scored first assisted by Tom Leech to give JCC a 1-0 lead.  The Cougars answered with a goal of their own in the second half, tying the score 1-1.  Just when the Cannoneers were about to face yet another overtime game, Tim Peters scores for Jefferson in the last minute of regulation to give them the win!

Jacob LaClair had 6 saves for Jefferson.

The Cannoneers will face the Hudson Valley Vikings on Wednesday here on the JCC Campus at 4:00 pm.
