JCC Scores Big OT Win on the Road

The JCC men's soccer traveled to SUNY Adirondack on Saturday and came away with a big 1-0 overtime win.  The game started out slowly, as Adirondack applied much pressure in the Cannoneers defensive zone.  Great team defending and Goalkeeper Ching Lok Au patrolling the box kept the Cannoneers in the game.  The Cannoneers would make it through the first half in a 0-0 tie.  In the second half, the Cannoneers came out firing and put pressure on the Timberwolves with Brenden Jacobs and Patrick Rosato just missing chances in the first 5 minutes and the game would be back and forth the whole second half with SUNY Adirondack ringing a shot off the post in the waning minutes of the match.  The Cannoneers pressed hard in the first overtime as they sent the ball into the Timberwolves end on the kickoff and would force a turnover. This turnover would lead to Kyle Barker making a brilliant move and sending the ball across to Abdul Sanderson who ran through the ball and watched it sail over the keepers head as the Cannoneers came away with a hard fought 1-0 overtime win on the road.  A great team effort by the Cannoneers.
