Cannoneers Win Road Game!

Cannoneers Win Road Game!

The Cannoneers traveled to Corning for a Region III contest and came away with a wel deserved 4-0 win.  The game started out slow and then the Cannoneers controlled the play the rest of the way.  Dylan Terry came off the bench and at the 20 minute mark and provided the Cannoneers with a much needed goal on a beautiful cross from Makeem Huggins to put the Cannoneers up 1-0 and that is the way it would stay until halftime.  The second half was different story as the Cannoneers took the game right to the Barons and were awarded a penalty kick after putting sustained pressure on the Barons for the first 15 minutes.  Tim Irwin calmly stepped up and buried the PK.  Irwin would go on to cement the victory with 2 more goals on assists from Edward Goodall and Patrick Rosato.  Next up is the number 2 ranked Herkimer Generals at home on Wednesday.
