Jefferson Men's Soccer Sophomores Recognized

Sophomores were recognized as the Cannoneers drop tough outing to Cayuga

The Cayuga men's soccer came to Watertown on Wednesday and showed why they are one of the premier teams in the region.  The Cannoneers could not muster much on offense, yet played with determination and grit against Cayuga on sophomore recognition day.  The Cannoneers would only trail by a score of 2-0 at half and would battle through to the end and lose by the final count of 4-0.  On this day the Jefferson Men's Soccer Sophomores were recognized as this will be their last home game in a Cannoneer Jersey.    

Edward Goodall

Ed is a second year player who came to us from Sydney, Australia.  Edward has been a true leader for Jefferson Men's Soccer.  He is a very hardworking and self-motivated individual.  Edward is majoring in Physical Education here at Jefferson and he plans on going back home to Australia, where a full-time job awaits him.

Aaron Zehr

Aaron a graduate from Thousand Islands High School transferred to Jefferson from Cazenovia College.  He is a very skilled, scrappy player who always tries to find ways to score.  His plans after Jefferson are undecided.

Tanner Docteur

Tanner is a second year player who graduated from Thousand Island High School.  He is a major component to our offense, but will play at any other position when asked.  Tanner will continue his education at Clarkson University where he will pursue his career in Engineering Science. 

Hunter Birchenough

Hunter is a second year player who is a graduate of Carthage High School.  He is one of our strongest mid-fielders who give 110% both on and off the field.  Hunter plans after Jefferson are undecided but would ultimately like a career in law enforcement.

Dylan Terry

Dylan is a second year player who graduated from Beaver River Central School.  Dylan's never give up attitude has shown every time he steps on the field.  After Jefferson he plans on transferring to SUNY Canton where he will pursue his career in  Sports Management.

Colby LaPlatney

Colby is a second year player who graduated from Harrisville Central School.  He is had been an anchor for the Cannoneer Defense this season.  Colby is undecided with his plans after Jefferson.

Tim Fowler

Tim is a transfer student who graduated from Harrisville Central School.  He is a work horse on the field.  Always hustling and determined to get to the ball.   After Jefferson Tim plans on pursuing a career in Physical Education at SUNY Brockport.
